The River's Lament

Dec 20, 2022

A river weeps, its tears a gentle flow,

Carrying memories of ages long ago,

Its murmurs echo through the misty air,

A sorrowful lament, a timeless prayer.

It tells stories of love and loss untold,

Of dreams submerged in waters deep and cold,

Each ripple carries fragments of the past,

A symphony of whispers, fading fast.

Yet in its tears, there's beauty to be found,

A gentle solace in the river's mournful sound,

For as it mourns, it also cleanses the soul,

The river's lament, a healing, sacred scroll.
